Rebirth: Part Threux: It’s Superluminiferous Time

Well hello there. If you’ve been here before, you might notice that the site looks slightly different. This is because I’m reorienting and rethoughtceptualizing (yes, rethoughtceptualizing) the site from what is was before to a sort of log of my internet adventures.

I have a plan. This plan involves some websites making money, this money going into my bank account, and this bank account being used to take my girlfriend on vacation to Hawaii to see where they film(ed) Lost. Also some other things.

Basically, I’d like to never ever work for anyone in my life, because that shit don’t fly. A year ago I heard you could make money with something called “Teh Googles” and the original incarnation of this site was my first attempt at doing something serious with these internets. Since then I’ve had some massive failures, and a few decent successesesess. The new incarnation of this blog, which might look different soon again as I just took the first free WordPress theme that looked halfway decent [NOTE: this issue has been resolved... isn't she a beaut?], is a log of all my future failures, and perhaps here and there a success story or two as well.

Right now my plan involves just making cool and interesting web properties and profiting from them in whatever way is most appropriate. I have already got something pretty cool going on with a site and a half about physics games and have some other cool stuff in the pipeline. I’ll spill most of the beans here on this very blog, but I have to keep some of the beans for myself so I can still eat every now and then.

After all, I’m attempting to create websites with no formal web development education, am 23 years old, have 50,000 euros in student-loan debt (which is still growing!) and a loving girlfriend who keeps begging me to join her in World of Warcraft.

Wish me luck!

Ps. No, I will not be selling affiliate products like a madman here. This blog itself is not meant to make money and I’m intensely irritated by all the “internet marketing” bs out there. Of course, there are occasionally products that are actually good, and if I can profit from them when I’d recommend them anyway, I sure as hell will.
