I've been looking for a fairly simple software tool for digital painting using my Medion drawing tablet (which is lovely) For a long while I was using Twisted Brush open studio. It was great. Hooked right in to the tablet color switch and all. I up graded computer for more memory and now it will not work at all. Still can't figure it out. Any ideas? I've tried most of what you've offered. Gimp just bugs me but. Windows Draw is good, and PhotoFilter is nice, and PhotoSketcher is fun for photo adjustments and even some of my Digital Paintings
There are probably a bunch more I can't recall Oh I'm also using Windows xp if that is helpful. Thanks for any Ideas like your blog

I wouldn't know why you wouldn't be arrogant about your writing, since getting money is not really a satisfactory standard to determine whether your writing is good or not, or am I going to deep into something which was merely a joke now?

I really enjoyed this short story which shines like the pearl you described in it. I never heard of the J-particle before, but it is definitely inspiring. I am really looking forward to part 2.

Hi Ray,

While the focus of this site has changed somewhat and this post is a bit old (almost a year, wow!), I'll try my best to help.

I don't have any experience with Isadora, but I see that it is a node-based programming app like Max and Pure Data, which are mentioned in the post. Again, no experience with Isadora, but I have seen amazing things done with both Max and Pure Data (which are essentially the same, the biggest difference being that PD is open source). Processing (also mentioned in the post) is another language you could consider. It is just a normal programming language, so you'd have to learn that, but it's a simplified adaptation of Java specifically designed to make learning programming easier, but it's still very versatile.

Learning to code... well, I would say all you require is the will to learn and Google, and you're all set.

Hope I was able to help.
